  • Comprehensive information on how to research and write a paper 
  • Students in ENG111 & ENG112 are automatically added to the site each semester
  • The site is promoted to students each semester through myNSCC announcements, Stall Talk, LibGuides, paper flyers, faculty in classrooms, and in the library

How to access the Research & Writing Support site in Sakai

Anyone can join the site using the following steps:

1. Log in to Sakai with your NSCC student ID (N#) and password. There are several ways you can access Sakai:

* Log in to your MyNSCC account, then click on the link to Sakai

* Click on the Sakai link at the bottom of the college website (www.northweststate.edu)

* Go directly to https://sakai.northweststate.edu/portal

2. On your Sakai Home page, click on the Membership link on the left.

3. Click on the Joinable Sites tab at the top of the page.

4. Find “Research & Writing Support” on the list of joinable sites.

5. Click on the Join link below the site name. You will see a message that  you are now a participant in Research & Writing Support.

6. Click on the Sites menu at the top right corner to view the list of all of your Sakai sites.

7. Click on Research & Writing Support, under the Projects heading.
