Summary of the NSCC Library Collection

  • Electronic resources and print resources are both important to our campus collection.
  • We have around 8,000 print titles on a variety of topics.
  • Collections include
    • Main (open) stacks
    • VCGD (Visual Communication and Graphic Design)
    • Juvenile Literature
    • Local History
  • In addition, we provide access to hundreds of online databases with millions of full-text articles.
  • We no longer have subscriptions to print magazines/academic journals. 
  • We have a collection of DVDs for use in the classroom. 
  • We have access to a collection of streaming video through Films on Demand.

Items for the collection are purchased year-round based on several criteria including: relevancy, currency, and budgetary feasibility.
