Visual Basic (VB.Net) is an easier to learn programming language developed by Microsoft. It is based off of the BASIC programming language.
Visual Basic is a common first language for those learning programming. It is even incorporated into Microsoft Office in the form of Visual Basic for Applications, or VBA.
