As a reminder, here are the main points from your instructor's assignment prompt:
- The Taking Sides book contains 20 essays that explore political questions.
- You will write three "issue essays" of 4-5 pages each.
- Your essays will use the essays from the book as a jumping-off point.
- One of your essay topics must come from one of the following four essays in the book: 1.1; 2.1; 3.6; or 4.2
- The other two essays can come from any of the other 16 essays in the book.
- The due dates for these essays are as follows: September 18, November 8, and December 11.
- Each essay is worth 100 points (10%) combining to 30% of your overall course grade.
